Streusel Topping

This makes a big batch of streusel, enough for 4 or 5 dozen muffins or 2 pies. Keep it in the freezer so that you have it on hand whenever you have the urge to bake. |

Ingredients |

2 cups walnuts
1 1/3 cups white sugar
1/3 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons cinnamon
5 tablespoons butter

Steps

|
1 | In a food processor, coarsely chop the walnuts. |
| 2 | Add the sugar, oats and cinnamon. Pulse to blend, about 10 seconds. |
| 3 | Add butter and process about 10 seconds more, until you have a crumbly mixture. |
