Salad of Field Greens with Bleu Cheese and Apples

American Contemporary

A simply elegant and delicious salad.
Ingredients
4 ounces field greens (mesclun mix or other salad mix)
2 ounces bleu cheese, crumbled
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
Freshly ground tellicherry pepper
½ apple, cored and sliced thin
 
Steps
1 In a bowl, toss greens with bleu cheese, oil, vinegar and pepper.

2 Portion onto 2 salad plates, top with apple slices and serve.
