Apple-Cranberry Bread Pudding

Easy comfort food, and a great way to use up day old bread.
Yield 8 servings
Ingredients

2 cups whole milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 large eggs
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 cups crustless white bread, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
2 large apples, peeled, cored, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1/3 cup cranberries


1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter 11x7-inch glass baking dish.
2 In a large bowl, whisk together: milk, sugar, eggs, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt. Fold in bread, apple, and raisins. Pour batter into baking dish.
3 Bake pudding, 60 minutes, until top is golden and center is set.
